Online shopping: Spending without realizing it?

Just wondering if anyone would be like me. Whenever I shop online, I tend to shop more than I "think" I have. I think it's because I am just sitting in front of the computer doing a few clicks without taking a huge bag of stuff back home and therefore I actually got the illusion like "I haven't really bought anything" *laughs*. Because of this, I now have a piece of paper writing down the date and the amount I have spent online so that I could keep track of my online purchase and stay within the budget.

Hello wondericequeen, I seldom shopping online. I only look for certain products that I don't really have to check thoroughly. I won't buy all kind of stuff online. Maybe you're right. You don't have to do anything or carry the stuff that you have the feelings that you don't really spend for anything!

Yup I'm exactly the same! It's so easy to just spend and spend! It's like playing at shopping really! Well at least until you realise you have no money in the bank lol

Yes i am exactly like you, I start adding to cart and after done and go to check out realize that i spent more then i expected. But i also agree with you that it is way easier then carrying a lot of bag to home. SO i guess i better do like you are doing now and start takin notes and try to keep under control. HahaYou sound like a very good potential customer to me & my wife as we do online selling? AHhaahaIt's true that if we do not budget & discipline, it's very easy to overspend especially if it's online shopping as you're not dealing with physical money!~

haha, online shopping is what i've been doing these days, over 15 days up to now. i don't have a budget since i just learn that i can connect paypal with my credit card, which surely encourages me to step a bigger step on online shopping.

yupp..It's exactly what I'm doing.When I shop online,everything seems so attractive that I can't help wanting it.Sometimes the goods look much better on the internet.Everytime I search online it's just like I've got many things to buy and it isn't enough yet.I got confused on this situation but I can't help.It's more convenient to shop online so I'll keep on doing this,hah
