How often?

I usally go about 5 times or so a year and thats mainly during the summer when a lot of good action movies or comic book movies are out. I wont go see a comedy in the theator not really worth paying the money since I feel I dont need to see it on a big screen. Last movie I went to go see was the watchmen which I loved it.

The last one I saw in the theatre is Confessions of A Shopaholic. I only go about three or four times a year now. If it's a movie I have been waiting for and really want to see, I'll go to theatre to see it. Otherwise I usually wait for them to come out on DVD to rent. The prices at movie theatres are so outrageous now. Luckily mine has an early bird rate, which is the first showing of the movie that day. I always try to go then because it's about half the price of a regular ticket.

Hello, You've responded to me and I've commented back, and I thought i'd respond to you in favor! My fiance and I are don't go to the movies very often, the last movie we saw was "mall cop" and we thought it was a very funny movie. If I had to say how many times a year we go I would save 1x a year, if not maybe 2x. Great discussion!

Hi, ellen_mom! The last time that I went to the movie theatres was in 1999 or 2000. I can't remember the name of the movie, but I do know that it was a horror movie that I saw.. Or a suspense. It could have been anyone between these two..

Even though I can find everythimg online, We still go 1-3 times a month. Watching it via computer screen is not the same as in theater. The last one we saw was Inkheart, just last week. We are lucky here, there is a 3$ theater nearby. Yes,all shows, all times 3$. The movies are just a few weeks older than in a normal theater.
