Bible is full of instruction that comes from God. The book of timothy says that the scripture is use for teaching. When you study the word teaching, you will find a deeper meaning about it. Teaching also mean doctrine, meaning it should be a way of life. Every teaching from the bible should be a life for us. Teaching has also another meaning. Teaching is also instruction. Instruction are set of command that are followed so that any user will misuse a thing and so as to destroy it. Now in our church, all the preachings are about instructions. Instruction are guide in our life. It will tell us how should we live and what we will do in our daily life. Instructions in the bible comes in two possible way. The direct instructions and the indirect or hidden instructions.
As what I have said earlier, the bible is full of instruction so based on your bible reading or devotion or meditation, what instructions did you receive this day? Can you share it so that all of us in here will grow in the knowledge of Christ?

I'd just like to add that the "scriptures" that Paul was referring to in Timothy is none other than THE OLD TESTAMENT!
There are many folks that consider the OT outdated and invalid- but the OT is what EVERY ONE in the New Testament including Jesus and ALL the Apostles, read and taught from.
The NT as we know it now, wasn't even canonized at the close of the Apostolic era. During those days what we know of as the NT today, were just a series of letters (based on the OT) that were being circulated thru out the churches of that day.

Yes that right, that's why the OT is referred as the shadow of the new testament because it is the basis. I agree that the old testament should not be neglected same as the new testament because both are part of the word of God.

My instruction received this day is to pray God and for more blessing. He said to me that you must be careful for this day.Because many people will challenge you today. And ask thank you for the people who help you to grow in this world.I thank you my parents who always protecting me and supporting.

Nice instruction. Many people pray to God for blessing but do you know that man can bless God and in return God will bless that man. God's blessing cannot be compared to man's blessing so if you bless God, God will definitely bless you more than the blessing you give Him.

I've read the Bible from cover to cover and sadly, missed God's instructions entirely. I saw lots of instructions from guys like Timothy who pretended to have a dedicated line to God. Its too late now to know who Timothy really was, and what it was that made him tick. WE just have to go it on Faith. Most, if not all present day instructions from the pulpit need to be taken on Faith. My direct, and indirect instructions on this day consisted of a warning not to naivete in my belief. "Believe your beliefs, and doubt your doubts, and to your own self be true. If it seems improbable or impossible, it probably Is!"

I have read the bible from cover to cover three times and still continuing. The instruction you received seem difficult to follow for me but I can say that can follow it. Being your true self can be interpreted in two ways, by pursuing the desires of your self or to function as what God intended man suppose to function. Being true means that you won't lie to yourself but the body desires what is contrary to the spirit so can you explain more what do you mean by being true to yourself.
