This does seem strange. A website should be able to update their features in a short order, especially if it's an earning site. I haven't been on the site in a few weeks because I've been busy. There just hasn't been time for me to get there. I'll have to get back to it here soon. I go through spurts where I'll not be able to do certains things for a while, then I go back to it.

The message I get is 'We are currently updating the system. Please check back later. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.' and it is the same thing now..

Is not so strange. I found sometimes is enough to close my browser then open it again, and start ciao from the start page instead of from my profile page, to don't get the message.
I guess sometimes happens that that message come out just because i'm trying to go directly to my profile page in ciao, instead than to the standard www.ciao.com.
And once I tried to go to my profile page and got the message, the only way to open ciao again is close the browser (I use firefox) and then open it again. Then I go to www.ciao.com and magically it opens again! ;)

it's strange, i don't have problems with ciao sites since yesterday, but this morning i found a strange problem, and i hope it's only a glitch, i can't open it with Mozilla browser, but i can open it with I.E? maybe they have a problem with Mozilla, did you use the same browser like me?

I guess ciao is turning into a scam site now.. From the very first time they started changing their incentives and earnings, i have suspected that it's gonna be a scam..
TO me, if a site is really legit, they wont be changing their incentives so often, imagine slashing from $1 per review to $0.25 and finally to earning thru ratings?? That's too big a change!! Furthermore, in the very last payout, ciao was late in making their payouts right?? Thus, all the reason more or less make me think, ciao is a scam now..

Hello Marina,
Maybe you've got that message "We are currently updating...cause." because you use your account profile URL to login at their site. I also get that error message when using this URL : http://www.ciao.com/account.php#home. That URL bring you to your "my ciao" page isn't it, but somehow ciao disable this URL lately.
Try to login using this URL : http://www.ciao.com/login.php.
It works for me, hope that also works for you.

Well I dont have any problems with Ciao so far. Aside from some slow connections sometimes but other than that, it's very fluent and goes well.. Mylot takes time to load most of the time.. I think it's because of tons of discussions and posts..

I found the backdoor to this one, too. I know there are some who have tried the suggestions here but are still unable to access their account. I have made a detailed step-by-step guide on my blog. YOu may access it through my Profile page here on Mylot. Good luck to all and let's resume making money. I am reviewmaster on ciao. See ya!

i am surprised what is happening there. i do not visit it since they changed their terms. once or twice a month i login to see what is happening. ever since microsoft took over ciao, they are into all kinds of problems. just like microsoft windows operating system, ciao also goes down without any reason.
