My Strong Wife!

Poor Sick Debbie - Very seldom does she look like this.

This is a shot of my wife resting on the couch for one of her rare times. She is a strong woman and works 6 days a week. It takes a LOT to bring her down making her take time from work. Well she has a very bad cold so she called in sick thjis morning. She seldom calls in sick. Anyhow I am babying her between myLotting and Facebooking today. She loves being pampered. Do you tend to your spouse hand and foot when they are ill? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Good for you, like you said she's such a good hard worker and it's nice you show your support and appreciation. It would be so good if every man thought this way. Thank You.

Poor sweetheart - it is so unlike her to be off work! I am sure you are pampering her just fine. Don't forget the hot soup and plenty of drinks! I don't tend to pamper David when he is occasionally ill but that is more because I can't do much. WE do both tend to pamper the kids loads if they are ill though! xxx

She drank nearly a gallon of orange juice and a couple cups of hot tea with honey. I take care of her. No soup, she wanted spaghetti and what my woman wants she usually gets. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM AGB!!~

Oh that is good - orange juice is so full of vitamin c. I am sure that whatever she wants she gets, after all her hubby adores her and is a very special man! xxx

Unfortunately I do not get to really pamper my husband when he is ill. I am usually at work myself. Hubby does try to pamper me to pieces if I get sick, but that is very rare. I am sorry your wife is ill. Hope she gets better soon.

Same here as far as myu wife babying me. It happens after her job and on weekends only when I am ill. But I am home all the time so it's only natural to pamper/baby her. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

No I don't tend to my husband hand and foot when he is sick with a cold. He usually will go to bed and sleep. He is the world's worse to try to get him to take cold medicine but at least he will eat his hot soup. That is very nice of you to take care of your wife like you do. I applaude you.

That didn't sound good what I wrote did it? You would just have to know my husband, he is the type who don't want to be waited on hand and foot like that.

Hi GRANDPA BOB, Poor Deb, she looks all done in and needs a lot of care, these viruses are all going round at the moment, not nice. I got on hand and foot to my hubby and he is not even sick, the lazy so and so. Tamara

She has slept most the day which is expected. She seems to be feeling better now. All I worry about is her being up late due to sleeping all day. Hee hee. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi Grandpa Bob! I do hope that she will get well soon and with your tender loving care, I know she will! Whenever my husband get sick, I do take care of him and tend to him "hand and foot". He will be like a baby and I think he really loves that. haha..And he does the same thing to me even when I sometimes fake my sickness. LOL! Take care and blessings to you! lovelots..faith

Lucky Debbie, to have such a doting husband! I always took care of my husband as well as I could but he was half whiner, half leave-me-alone and I just wanted to be isolated when I was sick, which was rare--I couldn't take the time! Did you know that chicken soup really is therapeutic for a cold? Geez, the last time I had a cold I hadn't had one for so long that I thought I was deathly ill and actually spent money to go to the doctor! It's such a miserable ailment, I hope she feels better soon!

I'm sorry to hear that she's unwell. I hope that she'll feel better very soon. In the meantime a little rest and TLC will do wonders. I try to be a good wife to The Boss, but she often does stuff around the house too. She may soon be having major surgery and will be laid up for a month or two. That will be a test. However, I am training to wait hand and foot. I know my place! LOL.

Well, I hope your special lady starts feeling better soon. I don't have a spouse to baby when they are sick, but I do have children. Both my children have been sick this week, running high temperatures, etc. I've been doctoring and babying them. Now, I'm starting to feel a little ill, I hope it doesn't get me though.

I don't have anyone to tend too. She looks like she is very comfortable. And she might not appreciate you taking her picture while she is snoozing.

I dont really tend to my hubby when he is sick, basically he takes his medicine that makes him go to sleep and he goes to bed and stays away from kids... but I was sick this weekend and I have to say, he let me lay down and kept me away from the kids....HAHAHA, our choices are different when the kids are involved... he may have pampered me but in his way he watched the kids and kept them away from sick mommy...LOL Of course we will always do the "check in" like do you need anything... etc...LOL Hope your wife is feeling better soon!!

She sounds like me, I hardly ever get sick, but when I do, I am on my own.. But when my family gets sick, I have to wait on them hand and foot, sometimes that gets old, especially when I don't get pampered..

My husband does try. But in general when I am feeling ill, I just want to be left alone to sleep. So he tries to keep the kiddies quiet. Which is a big help for me. Here is hoping she feels better soon.

I hope your wife feels better soon. It is nice that she has you to take care and look after her. When I am sick, I still have to do everything, cooking etc. My husband sometimes acts like he is helpless. If I am really sick, I just stay in the bed and take whatever medicine I have. My husband will bring me something to drink, or go to the store to get medicine. He will not cook though maybe he will wash the dishes, that's a maybe.
