I have Windows Vista on my computer, and I mainly use Firefox for my browser. For most of my sites I have it set so the box comes up asking me if I want Firefox to remember my password for the sites. But ever since I changed my password for Mylot, it won't remember the password AND the box doesn't come up asking if I want it to be remembered. Can anyone give me some ideas as to how to go in and have the password remembered somehow? I just can't seem to figure it out. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

I'm using Firefox too and it's remembering my password for mylot. However mylot keeps forgetting who I am, and when I switch pages here I find myslef 'logged' out and have to relog in. So it could be mylot itself and not your browser..........

That's a thought...it's doing the same thing to me. Every time I open my browser it's as if I was never signed in. And it never used to do that. But I keep thinking it's because I changed my password. I guess I'll have to email admin and ask them about it. Thanks sweetie! Hugs!

Let me know if they get back to you. All this started when the duplicate account crap was going on, and it's really screwed up my being here. Takes so darn long now just to get something posted! LOL

I just check "remember me" on the site, and the box normally pops up in the bar, asking if I want Firefox to remember it. Other than that, I'm not sure what you do, unless you go into tools and "clear private data", clear your old password and reset the bar as it comes up in your sites. Brightest Blessings.

That's the part that wasn't popping up after I changed my password. But thanks to everyone here it's all straightened out now and I don't want to put my foot through the computer anymore. LOL! Thanks so much hon. HUGS!

Yep, did that. I followed all the other suggestions that people left here and things seem to be working fine again. Thanks so much hon.

As long as you can remember the password there is no problem, i also use firefox and i never have the passwords remembered for the simple fact that someone may use my computer and they then have access to my emails, facebook, and also sites like this, you are better off either writing it down somewhere safe, or, like me saving it in your phone (which i do for a lot of things) especially if its a numeric password as anyone who looks will asume its a phone number

If you have multiple tabs opened in the browser,it may not ask. In such cases you try with single tab and the you will be asked.Otherwise use the Norton 360 anti virus software(try with 90 days trial version), it is bundled with such option to remember all passwords of our favorite sites.

It won't even remember it in just the single tab. But I didn't think about that option with the Norton 360...I'm still learning all the ins and outs of it. Thanks hon. I appreciate it.

Hi friend, I am also using firefox. I think you have delete cookies or delete private data from your browser. you can check it for go to tools then option and you can see them from private and security tabs. If you have deleted those you won't be able to see. and also you can check your password also from this window.

have you done disk cleanup? Clear your temporary internet files and that might fix the problem.

Thanks hon. I've actually done that a few times and it didn't change anything.

You need to clear the saved passwords / auto-complete in your browser settings. Sucks, though, cause you'll have to re-enter all of your other sites login, etc, info and then re-save when prompted (should re-prompt you once you've cleared the saved info).
