the headlines or those important news first.
so that i won't be "lost" whenever someone speaks about current affairs to me. and at least i know what is happening.
My dad has been complaining that i only know gossip stuff that does nothing to help my brain.
So i've been nagged to read some current affairs. But mostly, i take more effort in looking into local stuff.

I usually read the local section first. Then I will go back to the main page and then scramble through the rest looking for things of interest, but that is only on the weekends. During the weekdays I look at the paper online to save money. So I usually see the headlines first.

WEll, I read the comics section first as well, I rarely ever finish the crossword, I don't even glance at the buisness section and only read the headings of articles on the first page, since the articles at the front are the most important onesand I like to see if they are that important to me or not. But,.. there is a but, my paper doen't have calvin and hobbes anywhere on the comics section, ever!
Goodnight, I hope to see you after a year or so on Mylot....

I usually read the most important news first, and after that I read the local news. I am epecially interested in the local news, because the international news I can easily find on the internet. I also like to read the culture pages about film, theater, exhibitions etc, but I am not interested in the sport pages and I always skip them. The same goes for the tv section (I don't watch tv) and the comics. I don't usually do the crosswords in the newspaper, I only do them if I have lots of time.
