wondering how to divorice best friend,separated no kids

wanted average life but complcated,don't live w/son's mother,don't live w/wife,but have life partner. Son lives next door,his mom diff state,my wife another state. Feel should get divorice so don't take anything from her son god forbid anything happen to her.Even after things went bad still wanna help her but cannot. I am disabled so it will take some time to get enough money to pay divorice fees
