hi everyone
do you guys ever think that the numbers that the scale shows are sometimes made up? i mean seriously, Ali always seems to know what weight to lose and the exact percentages before they appear and everything.

I read something somewhere that the "scale" that we see is not an actual scale. It's just a prop. From what I understand, the contestants weigh on a real scale off camera. They don't see their weight before the live weigh in, so it's a surprise for them, but I'm sure Alison is made aware of the numbers so she can be prepared to make her comments.

I know I could never do what they have done, as far as losing all the weight is concerned. The challenges were diffeicult too, and I certainly couldn't have done them whatsoever. I never knew that what we think is a scale isn't. It sure does look like a scale to me lol. I think it woule be hard once it is all over, to maintain their weight. I would think that some foods would be very tempting to eat. I know I eat what I shouldn't sometimes too. I am hoping that Mike wins, but we will find out next week. He hs really come a long way, and he has done very good, but so has his dad as well. They sure look much better than they did when they first started.

I believe the numbers are real weight loss. The problem we are seeing now that information is available for past players is some are gaining weight back. Ali is being told the numbers, so that she is prepared.

I would think that there's someone off camera telling Ali all these numbers through her ear piece. I would imagine that the scale is just a toy that they use to keep the audience guessing. However, I'm sure that the numbers are real. Wouldn't you hate it if you were told you'd lost this big huge number, and it was really lower.
