I used to have one, but it must be out of date by now. I don't use it in more then 7 years. That's a lot of time.

When I did take books to home I use to read them quite fast because I only have 3 days with the books at home. Sometimes I didn't even manage to end the book...

I have two library cards, one from work because I worked in London I was able to have a library card for the library near where I worked and also I have a card for my local library, guiltily I haven't been to the library for over a year now, just don't seem to get the time, but this year I have made a vow to start reading again and make some quality time to myself, even if its a night before I sleep. I'm also going to start reading my first Terry Pratchett novel!

Yes,I have an e-library card and two paper cards.I use my e-library card twice in a month.I can bring out 4 books at a once. But if I want to take more books out,I have to use the paper card. One paper card can take out one book.I always return books on time. But just once,I forgot the date,so I paid 5 yuan to those books.LOL.

I use my library card a lot. I take the maximum possible books i.e., six. I do usually return them on time. Unlike the past I read something before returning them back

I do, and I ALWAYS have books out, except now. Cause my emails quit being forwarded, resulting in me not knowing my books were overdue, resulting in a fine of 10 dollars and 80 cents. Sigh...

Yes, I do have a library card. I have about twenty items checked out including various books in Spanish and CDs in Spanish as well. I love the library because we can check out videos, CDs, and books. It is very cool. Plus our library has books in all different languages. Since Spanish is my second language I am able to check out books in Spanish. Well, yes, I don't always turn the books back on time, and I believe I have an 8 USD fine on my card. We are allowed to have a 10 USD fine before we cannot check out books. I have to be careful with that, right?
Anywho, I love books and the library as well.

Yes. I believe I was in about the third grade when I got my first library card. I kept losing it, and then I finally lost it for a prolonged period of time which prompted me to get a new one. I don't always go to the library at as much as I would like, but when I do, I usually find myself getting only one book, occasionally two, since I have so many on my shelf at home that I haven't read yet. I always turn them back in on time as I do not want to be charged!

I take out only one book and I'll just borrow a new one when I finished reading the previous book that I've borrowed. Loaning too many books at a time is not good for me because I'll keep changing books and I will not be able to finish reading all of that.

wow! you have a year old discussion!
when I was a student back in college, having a library card is a must. and just one look at it and you can tell who are the diligent and who are the lazy ones. LOL I usually use my library card when we have homeworks or papers that needed researching. but if you talk about borrowing books just for the pleasure of reading? I must have done that twice or thrice only. ^__^ and those are times when I'm super bored and tired of my friends' faces. LOL the books I have read for the sake of reading were about astrology, suspense novels, and classic novels. ^__^
before I graduated I surrendered my library card because it was the policy. and then I'm not sure if we have our municipal library here in town, so that's saying I don't have a library card anymore. ^__^;; I get my books from the bookstore or through the internet (e-books).

I used to have one, but right now where I live the library is too far from me and don't know exactly where it is.But when I had one I just borrow at least five of them and also finish like you with one or two not end up.but I would just go there and extended the date for another month or more.
