when is too young to be engaged

thats just like saying how old do you have to be to fall in love. you cant help when you fall in love or to whom, but life is to short to wait around. if you want something go for it. if that is what they want to do, its their choice, you dont have to like, but he's your son so you should support his choice.

I think 16 is pretty young to get engaged. But that is just me. I guess it all depends on maturity level though.

How old is your son? My daughter just told me she got engaged, (yuck), and she is 20. We tell her to wait, but you know kids, they don't listen. 16 is young.
