Should our Government help the homeless?

Do you think the Government should help the homeless with all the money that we send overseas for humanitarian reasons? Personally I do, it seems a shame to me that in a Country as great as this one we allow our citizens to live in the streets. Many of the homeless are there from severe hardships that have happened to them all at once. Not everyone has a support system. With our economy in the shape that it's in, our jobs getting outsourced overseas, the home foreclosures, we are in a crisis situation. The homeless need places to stay and with the money our Government wastes and gives to other countries there is really no excuse for this. Take care of your own and then you can help the others.
