Hello mylotters, am wondering who you take or see as your hero...I mean someone that is close to you someone you trust and you look up to to help you achieve your dreams. Some you think of in times of stress and depression and you fell elated to move on? My Dad was a promising Idol when I didn't really know him but when I got to know him I found out he was an egocentric dude who will only do things he deems fit to further his course in life not minding what becomes of his wards!

well said but heroes? I mean parents are naturally close to us and are deemed to be the people we naturally feel close to them and see them as angels and the nicest people on earth and we cannot really see their impact with a clear view pertaining the definition of who is a hero!

Same here. Not only we feel it but all kids feel the same. A father is a hero for his children. Its only after we become mature that we come to know about our real idol. My hero is a man who stands by his decisions, commitments forever.Who is intelligent ,diligent, who can defeat others in every field. As yet ,i have not discovered all these qualities in a single person. These are found scattered in different persons..

well I guess we all seem to misunderstand that our parents no matter how close they are to us we cannot really call them heroes as such, because of the blood relationship that binds us together. Yeah no one person can really satisfy our needs or desire for perfection!

My hero is my Uncle Rolly. He always looks after our family. When I was diagnosed to have an appendicitis and needed to have a surgery, he's the one who paid for all of my medical fees and all the things that's needed after I went out of the hospital and made sure that I was taken care of. He sent me to college and I owe him what I'm having right now 'cause without him, I wouldn't get a decent job and help my family.
My mom is also my hero 'cause she always takes care of me and even sometimes that I'm being rude and stubborn, she never fails to help me and find solutions whenever I have a problem. She raises me and my brother to be good persons and to appreciate the value of love and helping people and even if she was going through tough times, she always think of me and my brother first. She's the best mom.
