I think my favorite scene is the one where she goes to the hotel clerk and tells him she has to buy a dress and she has all this money but no one will help her. Wait, maybe it's the one where she leaves the money on the bed that Richard Gere pays her and walks out. Or I don't know, it could also be the one where she's vegging out in front of the tv and he's just watching her. Geez, I forgot about the piano scene when she come looking for him. I just can't choose. Can you figure out which scene is the absolute best one in the movie?

I think the best scene is when she goes to buy the dress and they won't serve her and then the hotel clerk calls for help and she's amazed by the service.

I don't think there is just one great scene in that movie. They are all great. The scene where she gets hit by Richard Gere's "friend" makes me mad. But then Gere comes in and punches him back! Prince Charming saves the day! I like that scene because he's protecting her. He wouldn't do that if he saw her as just a hooker. That scene shows he's falling in love with her. I love that scene.
Also I like the scene where Julia Roberts' friend propositions the old guy and his wife in the lobby of the hotel when she's picking up the money that Julia Roberts left for her. That one is funny.
I love the entire movie. It is an excellent movie and shows that everyone can find true love. Even hookers and uber busy business men.

There are a lot of wonderful and memorable scenes i this movie, but I always come back to the scne where Richard Gere takes her shopping on her credit card, and Larry Miller, (who is a very funny comedian) is the store manager and her just makes him SUCK up to her! I also certainly like the scene after that when she walks into the store where they snubbed her earlier and she says "do you work on commision? Too Bad! Must go and shop now!"
This is still a wonderful movie even after seeing it over and over again, I still cry when he tells her she is worth more, and she agrees with him. Thanks for the question and have a great day!

I read all the answer to this post and I was amazed that no one mentioned the fairy Godfather: the hotel administrator. If it weren´t for that character´s ability to see how the girl was apart from her "profession", that story wouldn´t have had a happy ending.
I loved when he taught her how to eat, while he was showing her respect and treaching her to respect herself. And all the scenes with him had the same mark up to the moment he gave "the Prince" Julia´s address.

the best part scene i saw in the movie was during in their first morning where Richard Gere is about to go to his business & she saw the pretty woman Julia sleeping so soundly and he saw that what she wear the other night was just a wig and that she got this very beautiful curly hair almost covered her face...but then still very beautiful to look at...and Gere really paused for a moment & something fixed in his mind...i think that part alone, Gere started to fall for her",)
i also think of during their off to the Opera where she wore this long red gown, and Gere about to gave him a beautiful necklace, then as she look at it, when she about to hold it the box suddenly close & oh Julia really laugh like she was frightened oh dear, t'was so wonderfully really, that deep in you, you like to cry wow! whatta story really!
