iTunes over Windows Media Player

I use iTunes instead of Windows Media Player to listen to music on my PC, even though I don't have an iPod and I have a Samsung Media Player for my MP3 player.
I think it's more convenient and the layout is much better. I don't really like the retro dancing lights thing on the Windows Media Player, I think it's a waste of space... Also, I find updating iTunes much easier than updating Windows Media Player for codecs and stuff.
Do you use iTunes to play your music? Or just to update your iPod?

I borrowed my father's ipod to listen to audio books... and i had to download i tunes to my laptop... and i kinda liked it... so i think i will stick to it for a while... but i certainly need to learn how to use it... since i have been using media player for years now...

I use it both for my iPod and to play off of. It's just way easier to find the media I'm looking for, and keep updated. Absolutely love it over Windows Media Player because it's cleaner, more sorted, and much easier to use.

Hi oyenkai,
I also use iTunes because I think it is more convenient than Windows media player. I have tried both and I feel that iTunes is better. It is relatively easy to update the playlist, add and remove songs. Windows media player latest version is too heavy for my computer because my RAM and CPU are limited.

itunes is faster better doesnt crashe and is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better then windows media/music player....good choice
