Our president thinks that making our children go to school for 10 hours a day instead of 8 will be good for our economy. I think that it will raise drop out rates. I don't think that the president cares about our children, only about making himself look good. There are many other things that need to be done before we put a hardship on our children. What do you think?

Does the ten hours include lunch breaks? My school hours in high school used to be from 7 AM to 5:30 PM plus some optional 30 minutes military training afterward (sounds like a prison schedule lol), but these included lunch breaks and a few vacant periods. It was tiring but I adjusted after the first few weeks. 8 hours is the optimum number in my opinion.

im from the uk and i already think that childrens school days are long enough if they are any longer what time do they get to spend with there familys, i dont think this will do anything for the econamy except raise the need for more therapist due to the deppression and insicuritys and anxiaties in the children
