Oh, my baby, when will you speak freely? When will you communicate with us by your mouth, but not by your hands, your body and your nose? You know, not every time, we can guess your meaning.
Now, you are 2 years old. I remember, when your cousin in his 2 years old, he could speak very well. One day, it was snowing, and I embraced him before the window to watch the snow. Then he said, "Aunt! So much washing powder from the sky! Let grandma collect them to wash clothes for me!" Oh, so lovely a baby!
Even I know baby is different to each other, I stll feel some worry.

is your baby making sounds, trying to talk?
do you talk to him alot?
my youngest did not speak as early as his older brother and sister.
I got worried.
I would take his little hand and put it on my throat when I talked to let him feel the vibrations from my voice.
Can he hear ok?
Sometimes we worry about things like this and usually there is no problem, enjoy him while he is little. They start to talk and then you start to remember the days you worried about them NOT talking and miss those days and want them back!

He can hear everything we say. And he can call Mom, Dad, grandpa, grandma and so on. But he can't speak a whole sentence.
You are right, "They start to talk and when you start to remember the days you worried about them NOT talking and miss those days and want them back!" Even now, I begin to miss what he is when he is more little.

Hello pauline. I think that it is very natural for some babies to start to speak earlier than some others while others do later. Do not worry too much about it. For sure your baby will open his mouth to speak soon to give you a surprise.
Well, it is really fun of your son's cousin for his words. It made me have a good laugh. You know, kids often say something that is very funny. Kids are very cute. Good luck to you and I wish your baby to grow healthily and happily with your tender parenting. Take care and have a good day.

Hum, I think kids are all lovely. But when they grow up, all likability seems to disappear. So sometime, I will feel a little sick at heart. One day, my baby won't be lovely any more.
