When I started to sing, I found out that I have the talent of it but has only limited voice range until one day when I searched on the internet, I found a website teaching a singing technique that can increase your voice range up to minimum of 3 octaves. I am not sure to use this technique because I'm already using a diaphragm technique. Is there any body can answer my question?

The normal, comfortable range of a trained singer is about two octaves but many singers can reach notes outside their classified range, especially males. A baritone, for example, may be able to relax the vocal chords enough to sing well into the bass range and may also be able to use falsetto and other techniques to sing well above the tenor range.
As one sings a scale from low to high, one encounters points where the vocal folds change mode. These are called 'passagio' and an experienced singer learns to minimize the effect these points have on the vocal tone, thus extending their range.
All good singers learn to use the diaphram for breath control but learning control of the muscles of the vocal chords is just as important. In fact, the two should work together.
Most classically-trained singers concentrate on singing well within the range that they or their teachers determine as their 'natural' range: many popular singers, however, extend the range considerably.

I'm happy for you to have discovered and accepted the talent God has bestowed on you. If you are a natural singer, I believe you don't have to change your techniques in performing but maybe you can enhance your talent. The most important thing is you you you have the talent and you share it with others as a way of thanking God for it.Keep up the good work!
