What is the basic difference between Pocket PC & Palm PC ? Also, the cost factor

Please tell me, what are the basic difference between a pocker PC & a Palm PC? I think I will have to buy one, so,can you people please guide me on which one to choose? I need it mostly for using my Internet connection,and basic office works. Do tell me the cost involved in both cases.

hello there... well, pocket pc and palm pc are just OS (operating system) just like the windows xp from microsoft and mac os X from apple... pocket pc is from microsoft and palm pc is from palm company... they work the same way like you use your computer... but in small factor of course... it also called smartphone or PDA (personal digital assistant)... you just need to compare and analyze which one offers great features in both OS... and also the price... once you did some research into it, you can then proceed to buy it...
