Nowadays ,it is a new method to reduce pressure and conquer worry by keeping busy .The secret of being miserable is to have the leisure to bother about whether you are happy or not .So don't bother to think about it!Spit on your hands and get busy.Your blood will start circulating ,your mind start ticking - and pretty soon this whole positive upsurge of life in your body will drive worry from your mind ,Get busy ,keep busy ,It's the cheapest kind of medicine there is on this earth - and one of the best.

Yeah, keeping busy is easiest and the best way to handle stress and worry. When we indulge in some work and if that is what we like most then it reduces the detraction of our mind and that helps in reducing the worry.

Yes!It is good to indulge in more works and keep ourself busy,so that we have no time to worry about.But I like to add,we should not be worried of the outcomes of our busy schedule.Without that,we will build up more pressure than before.So keep yourself busy without expectations will be better.Cheers!

I think it is possible to reduce stress and worry by keeping busy because you are keeping your body and mind active so it will not dwell on things, and you will be able to work through the worries and get past them easier.

i think it is very useful.when i feel worried of frustrated,i try to find some thing to do .so i can keep my mind busy ! it is a kind of means to avoid life! maybe it is not the perfect way but it does work!

Overcoming one's worry thought patterns IS doable. I used to worry about EVRYTHING. During exams I was actually physically ill with worry. Then I met a nurse who basically told me that either I'd have to learn to control those thoughts or live the Rolaids lifestyle. So to stay sane, I learned to shut off the endless mind chatter. Busy redirects your thoughts and breaks the pattern of worry/mind chatter. Your mind chatter will find a way to break though, but with practice, you will be able to turn off that tap at will and achieve peace.

I believe it is very possible to to reduse or conquer pressure by keeping busy, because pressure arises as a result of worrying about something and if a person is able to shift his or her awareness from the stress, the body rejuvenates itself. The main thing is to keep busy with something we really like doing, then that would be a perfect distraction.
