Affiliate Programs vs Paid to Post Programs

I would like to know your opinions, which program is better as a way to generate online income, affiliate marketing or PTP. You see affiliate programs pay more but depends a lot on advertisement in which without the necessary know how, you are lost(like me) where as PTP is like a job, the more you work the more u earn. that's my opinion though. What do you all think? Which is best? Any recommendations will be highly appreciated.
