My lotter's,
Have you ever thought you are doing what you are meant to do.
Living your life to the fullest,or just living your life settled?
I think it is depressing, living settled cause it usually means that you are doing what fullfill's you as a human.
There are some days where i feel like this and iam not a depressed person.
Any ideas on what i could do to achieve fullfilment?
I have a kid ,a dog, a house and i still do not feel as though iam living life to the fullest.

I think about what my life would be like everyday if I had gone into whatever it is that I am supposed to be doing. It gets me depressed to think that I am not living up to my potential. I am trying hard, but nothing seems to work or help or anything.

thanks for your responce, i feel the same way.
when i think of all the thing's i could have done but didnt and all the thing's that i have achieved seem so minimal,it gets me depressed.
i wish there was a remedy for thing's like these but there is not one, best thing is to keep it at bay cause the more i think about them the more i get depressed.

I'm well past retirement age but I'm not retired because I love my work. There were times when I was younger that I didn't particularly care for my work, but I stuck with it. ( I'm so glad I did.)As you go through life great opportunities will jump out at you from time to time. If you are ready to seize these occasions, you will have a good chance at self advancement. Make a plan, follow it, and be ready to Strike when the Fire is Hot!

Well grass is always ging to be greener on the neighbour's lawn. I live a life where I have to change city every two years , though moving is exciting but it comes with lot of troubles too. As soon as you get comfortable in one city you are asked to move out. What I feel is the idea should be to do what you love most and may eb get creative. If yo are settled at a place still you can choose to spend your day as you want to. May eb try a different routine or just do something you always wanted to but never had time to, it will make your day.

I'm not living my life to it's fullest because I don't have money. However, how to live life to the fullest, you must get a backbone, motivation, and addiction.
The backbone could be your family, the people you love, the people you can count on, the reason why you live is to be with your family because you love them so much and you couldn't live without them because they are so precious to you.
Now that you have a reason to live, then you can add to that. Get an addiction. Something that you look forward to, something that you've gotta do. It's an addiction, it's on your mind 24/7 and you gotta keep going back to it no matter what. For me, this MyLot website is definitely an addition, I'm so addicted to it. Go to Church, and exercise too and that'll get those depressing feelings out of your system.
Fun is the sub category of addiction. HAVE FUN!!! A whole lot of fun, and you're going to have to try new things in order to have FUN! Why I can't have fun is because I can't afford to sky dive, take a trip to space, and go hang gliding; hang gliding is really fun! I love fishing. So, try new things, meet new people, and find new interests, this website is good for expanding your knowledge base.
And motivation is perfection. The effects of motivation is that you want to look perfect, eat healthy, drive the perfect car, live the perfect life. Now don't get depressed if things are not perfect because you still have the addiction and the backbone. How to get motivation? No idea...that's the problem. And, you don't care how hard it is to look healthy, be healthy, you just don't care, you do it because this motivation is pushing you to go even further beyond.

Well for depression, medicines are not solution. Do Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.
