Who here has defeated Jad (level 702)? And about how many monsters are there before Jad? I tried fighting Jad, But I couldn't get to him. What level were you when you defeated Jad. And what Armour/weapons/food/potions/what ever did you have?

I have beaten him several times, he is easy once you know what to do. He is the last wave of the fight caves, and there are 63 waves total. I beat him for the first time at level 100, but I know people who have done it at levels as low as 65. (Those people being pures of course.) Your inventory will vary depending on what levels you have, but having the full Guthan the infected's set helps a ton. Aside from that, you should bring your best archer/ranging armor, with a ranging level of at least 75. For ammo you should use 2 full crystal bows, or if you have lots of money, use a rune crossbow and Mithril bolts for most of the caves, and Enchanted Diamond bolts for Jad. You should take about 4 cooked manta rays for food, and the rest of your inventory should be 4 dose Prayer potions; possibly including either the blessed wrench or the ancient mace, to aid in keeping your prayer points high. If you have any other questions add me as a friend in Runescape, my username is Bladestorm73, and I would be happy to help.

When you say "63 waves" does that mean 64 monsters? And I am not lvl 100, I'm lvl 94 right now. I will add you as a friend. And I will take your advice^.^Thx for commenting! Happy mylotting^.^

No, I mean 63 waves of monsters, with a break in between each wave. Altogether there are several hundred monsters that must be killed. This is where Guthan's armor comes in handy...

Aha I have beaten Jad! I did it on my 7th attempt. I know that really sucks, but I use a laptop mouse and switching prayers can be a real tough job. Fire cape animation is sweet. :D

i have never even reached to Jad, im lvl 76 in combat and i have made about half of the 63 waves, so i think i should train some strenght.

Nope. Attack and strength don't matter. You need 3 stats: ATLEAST 43 prayer, 60-70 recommended. ATLEAST 70 range. And defense is not needed, but higher you get, easier it gets. You'll want to wear something like: Verac Helm (prayer bonus) zamorak/guthix/saradomin stole (prayer bonus) Black d'hide Body Verac skirt (prayer bonus) Dragon boots Rune crossbow Broad/diamond bolts (e) So basically you need ALOT of prayer bonus. You'll want to have about 8 or 10 saradomin brews, and 1 ranging potion, and rest with super restores. The strategy is to stay at italy rock. To find that, go to this image: http://adf.ly/Cszo - Credits to hhttp://adf.ly/Cszu for posting. You'll want to camp behind the rock and find the monsters one at a time. After you get to round 29 or 30, you have to keep mage prayer on AT ALL TIMES. Good luck. If you need any help, you can post here or message me.
