Looking through the discussions that have no responses, I was thinking to myself how lucky i am to have people who Like my discussions enough to answer them. I went through a long list of discussions with no replies searching for one that i could actually answer. I found a few. So far everyone of my discussions have at least one reply. It helps to have friends here. because usually if they see a discussion of yours that hasn't been answered they will feel sorry for you and answer it. I love all of my friends on MYLOT!!! Thanks for being there for me. Do you feel lucky when you get an answer to your discussions and do you try to answer any no response discussions/?

hello mssnow...
Yep I feel lucky and LOVED when someone answered my postings even if it's the only response there =P
I do go to the no response section to give a response to their postings because I can see some interesting discussions there that are worth commenting or responding to and it's not mainly because I feel sorry. There are pretty good topics over there that haven't caught the attention of people.
As for responding back to the responses given in my discussions, I do reply back to let them know I appreciate their time to share their ideas and advice and even get friendly banters with them... it's like a hug for a hug... hee hee... I like myLot a lot not only that you can earn from here but you can learn so many things and have a feel for other countries from different people. I get to gain more friends whom I wouldn't be able to meet in other networking sites... ^_^
hugs...

I do feel lucky when a get a response to a discussion that I have been waiting on a response for. I also enjoy doing the same for others, and will sometimes respond to many of their discussions as a way to help them out. It helps get a lot of good friends on here who will do the same. I wish their was a way to categorize the friends and their discussions so as to stick to those who help you. I think it'd be a better and faster way to earn more and more, plus you'd be used to the person's discussions so much that you'd be comfortable with it! I appreciate this discussion, hope you have fun mylotting, and happy earning!

I've noticed, I went through your profile to yours, didn't even notice that the discussion about first discussions ever written was yours! lol! Well Glad to have responded!

If I can answer them, and I normally can, I will support my friends from e-mail notifications. I used to have a system whereby I would do that, then respond to top discussions, then new, then the ones without responses. Unfortunately, of late, it has been so hectic in here, that I haven't gotten around to the ones with no responses. In fact, it's been friends, friends, friends all the way! I don't look to see whether they have any previous responses though... I'll just go straight in and give mine. That way, they'll always have at least one, I figure!
Brightest Blessings, my friend.

Well to be honest with you i really like to see my discussions are answered. I like to read and answer them if needed, but feeling lucky? I don't think so. The most answer i got was 9 or 10 i don't remember but it is not much i guess comparing the discussions which had 40-50 respond :)
Have a great day!

I personally have only posted one discussion and got four responses. Do you earn extra if more people respond? I hadn't realized there was a section for "no responses". Now that you mention it though I see it. I don't think I would feel bad unless I really needed an answer. And now I'm gonna check that section in case I can help. Thank You!

Yes I agree princess, I always count myself lucky I have so many friends on Mylot who obviously like what I write and take the time and thought to answer them. I do have a lot of discussions without responses, which are actually 3 years old now! When I first started, I was going through clearing the backlog of best responses and sadly so many I can't and there they sit useless, that is why I would prefer if we had an edit button where we could delete our own discussions. I also count myself lucky because I have had some great advice and support in the past especially when I was going through a bad patch and all my friends rallied round and gave me love, support and advice which was invaluable to me.

i don't know if I would call it feeling lucky, but I definitely am grateful! I'm fortunate to not have had a zero response discussion for a very long time now and the main thing I can put this down too of course, is the loyalty of my friends here! I used to go and find really old discussions with no responses and then anwere them. It made me feel great to think that someone somewhere would suddenly get this totally unexpected surprise! I haven't been able to do this lately though due to time factors, but I'll do it again in the future for sure! Imagine having a zero response discussion sit there for 2 years and then a response suddenly pops up!

I feel happy when I get responses. And I do try to answer no response discussions when I have the time. Used to do it more but I've got a lot more active friends now so I get bogged down a bit.

Yes I feel very lucky when people respond to discussions I have started. I always feel a bit apprehensive if I have started a discussion and it takes a while for any responses to pop up. But when you hit on a good subject, which lots of people want to talk about, it is a great feeling.
I usually scroll through the no response discussions and will often make a few comments, because of how it feels to have no responses. But often I find I don't understand the discussion, so can't really make a useful comment.

Off course I like if people answer my discussions. It means that I have the same interest and I like to read what make them interest. I don't have much time everyday to open mylot so I try to look the respond in my discussion and I try to answer if they need to be answered.

I don't know if that is the term i would use. But i do seem to get a discussion which only two people answered my query and for me that is ok, i don't want to feel so bad about it although it alarms me that no matter what topic i would open, it will only be their decision and not because it looks appealing to the majority of users here.
I do open up questions and situations that may hear someones opinion about it, but if they don't want to respond, then there's no force that would make them answer it and i would never regret what i posted, i am not pleasing anyone here.

yeah i feel very very very grateful when someone replies to my discussions. as you can see, i've been a member here for 2 years already (an inactive member though) but i haven't got to do a lot of discussions either, and most often than not, i got 1-2 replies only. so what i'm doing now is just respond to which topic that interest me. once in a while, i'm starting a new discussion, but it just bores me. i think it suits me better to just reply to topics that i want.

Well there is no lie to the fact that we make up a discussion in hopes to get a few responses if not alot of them... but yes, it does feel really good when I make a simple discussion and it gets lots of attention. I havent seen many discussions that have no responses, but if I do I try to think of something to say but if it isnt anything I know about then I cant make a good response then I just cant....and understand it goes both ways.

Many disappointment before, I felt so. Anyway, I did the best I can to come up with some interesting discussions. Hopefully, there are more responses will coming in to my discussion forum. Somehow, I saw no response was shown, I knew by the instance that no one interest in my topic.

Of course! It's a wonderful feeling to see responses from others. I think every one of us hope our discussion responded by others.
