Myspace for Predators or Friends

I think there are more friends but the stories of the predators make national news and get blown out of proportion. You hear about the one predator but not the 5000 friends. I also believe that a predator can't be a predator if you don't allow yourself to be a victim. We need to start to do a better job protecting ourselves and our children.

I think there are friends on myspace moreso than predators. Of course, as sad as it may be to say, there are predators on that site. There are predators everywhere. I've only run into a handful of people that clearly did not have an account for friendship and good clean fun. The way I see it, people shouldn't stop connecting to each other via the internet just because there are potential dangers. Be smart, be cautious, educate yourself and your kids on the dangers, and have fun.
