I curse a lot kind of... it's a bad habit!
i try to break myself of it and i can do really good sometimes but i always end up saying something bad lol so oh well... i guess, all i can do it try not to say those words...but i say them anyway... it's bad when i am mad because i just start saying crap because it usually makes me feel better... i do say them in public places sometimes... i don't really try any harder not to say them out of the house as i do in... it is the same.. and happens it both places...when i get mad i just can't help it..

I don't. It was drilled into my mind by my parents that cursing is not a habit that I should get used to. And since I was brought up that way, cursing is not a part of my everyday language.

I am so bad at cursing.
I am constantly reprimanded by my daughter to watch my mouth around the grandkids. Some day I'll be able to control my Gordon Ramsey like mouth. So pizz off and let me get busy myLotting.

Hello dear vanities. I have never cursed in public as I don't feel that it is me if I do so. I am gentle in nature and I am not in such a habit. I think that this has a lot to do with my job. I am a teacher and everything I do, I should set a good example for my students. So I watch my manners. lol. Thank you for the discussion.

I honestly could say I never do that. The worst I did was I guess send an sms using one cursing word to my boyfriend when I caught him cheating. Anyway, it's not something to be proud of. You know that this doesn't make you 'cool' because you do things like people do, deep down inside you know that cursing only creates the matters worst. It's just not something good to hear, and truly not something to be proud of.

I swear quite a lot.
But it's not really extreme swearing, and I only swear if I know that the people around me won't mind. I'm very good at controlling my cursing as well.

Not at all. I rarely curse at all. I guess I just didn't get used to it. My parents didn't curse either so I learned from an early age to find other ways to express my anger/frustration/feelings.
I'm not saying I never did it at all, but I don't do it as a rule.
I also don't really enjoy being with someone that curses a lot. Even if it's an adult I always end up with a gentle reminder to watch the language LOL

no. i have not acquired that kind of habit. i don't like it. i just don't know about others. i think though we cursed we don't really feel good after wards. it just makes us feel more terrible. anyways, i think that it is one habit not so hard to stop if a person wants to stop this annoying habit.

I defy the normal expectations that a PhD from the top end of town should be above using bad language. Trouble is, I have never seen the point in it, and fourletter words abound in myself, my household, and in the circles I tend to move in. I don't even notice it, haven't for years, although I can, if the company demands it, keep it to a bare minimum.

I curse A LOT. I really have to restrain myself in certain situations like at work or with my parents because I will have a curse word in every other sentence! haha

I never use bad words, or curse. It is just not in my vocabulary. I can not understand where those bad words come from. Who started to use the words in the first place. I wonder that many times, when I hear yong people use them as a habbit. Almost in every sentense. Why? Why is it nessecery to use them? I guess, noone have any reply on that.I guess, I still have to wonder about it.

I don't do it too much in public. But at home, like you when I just get so mad and cant help it it just seems to come out. I don't mean for it but it just happens, sometimes I will catch myself and say a substitute word for it such as heck for he11 or freakn for, well you know what for. I hate swearing though it makes me feel really low.

I am quite proud and happy to say that I have never been into that habit. I am a very practical person and I analyze things with that perspective. When you are really angry at someone, you want to rant and shout and curse but try asking yourself just one question,"Would my cursing help improve the situation in any way?"
I am sure you will get a NO as an answer from yourself. Hence, there is no use cursing someone out of madness.
