If you want a good laugh check this out. This happened to me last night.
I went to work yesterday- I work as a waitress at a restaurant in a very popular area here in hawaii. The shift started at 4 pm which ment that i would be off around 9:30. All fine and dandy except I picked the short straw and wound up having to one of the hardest closing duties the restaurant could throw at me which was scrubbing the stains from the coffee pots and tea pots. It took me almost 2 hours. It wasn't until everyone else had finished doing what they were doing for their closing duties did someone come and help. Finally at around 10:45 I was out of there. So I am driving home and I run out of gas. - Yeap. There are no 24 hours gas stations here but luckly I had made it up close enough to where I live so I was able to park under a street light.
I called my mom to bring me some gas from the lawnmower. Of course when she got to where I was at she told me she didn't have any gas in the can. So I jumped in the car and we drove to my house. My husband had just used the last of it to mow the lawn that day so we too were dry.
I stopped off at the bar that is here in town and called in a favor from a friend I used to work with, unfortunately he couldn't help me either. SO we went back down to the car. Then a brillant light clicked - why not go to the fire station- I rang their bell which woke every body up. But they were cool and gave me some gas like 5 gallons and didn't charge me. SO I am stoked right. All we have to do now is go back to the car and I am home free.
Well the gas can didn't have a spout to it. SO once again my mom is off looking for the spout to the can back at her house. She finally comes back and you would think that that was it, but the spout was too small for the opening and fell into the gas can.
SO i told her to go back home and get another can so we could pour the gas from one can into the other. So off she went. Mean time, I broke a plastic hanger to try and fish the spout out. With no luck. My mom came back with a smaller can, and a spout that was too short and couldn't reach the inside of the gas cap.
It was then that I finally got the spout out of the larger can and began to pour the gas from one can to another. All said and done, I finally made it home around 1 am.
Well - that was my night last night. What did you do?

My Dear woman! I'm wondering if your life goes like this every day? I didn't laugh at your story, it was too sad. Do you realize that your life needs more order in it?
To get your act together you need to have a plan and stick with it. Take a few moments to plan your short term future. You can ask your self,"Is there gas in the car? is there any Gas in the can? Is there a spout for the can? all of these questions have an answer that you can figure out. Are you a Blond, by any Chance?

to answer your questions- I am not a blonde and my days are normally not like this. It was a funny thing that happen pure and simple. nothing went right, and by the way, my mom helped out a lot in it too you know. She was the one who kept on forgetting the stuff that we needed. I was laughing the whole night. It was a very funny night. I mean come on - first no gas, three tries in a row, then no spout, it was like I was a star in my own sitcom there for a few hours.

I am glad you have enough of a sense of humor to call it a comedy. You will have a lot of fun in future years retelling this. Blessings.
