This month, our company will organize a Table Tennis Match. Each one of us is permitted to take part in this match, and there will be special gifts for the winners and participants. So now, so many of my colleagues sign up to join in it.
And every day, they take a training together. Because I never play table tennis before, I'm afraid to be ridiculed by others. I'm worried about that someone will say why this guy join in the match, since she doesn't know how to play table tennis.
Oh, it's so bad a feeling. But if I don't join in the match, it seems that I care so little about the company activity.
So if you are me, how will you do? I'd love to hear all of your responses!

Good morning, dear pauline. I love to play table tennis as it is our national game. But I have to say that I am not very good at playing table tennis. Though every year a table tennis match is held in our school, I have only attended one of the matches years ago before Internet was available to me. I know that I will never win the match as I am only an ordinary table tennis player.
As to your current situation, I don't think that you need to worry too much about not being able to play well. You know, what is more important is participation, not the result. Still I wish you to take part in it if possible to make both them and you happy in the game. Enjoy yourself and have a wonderful day to begin with!

Hi william, I think I should tell you the up-to-date news. My colleagues commended me to be the judge :-)
Oh, it's the first time I act as a judge. I will do my best to it!

Well, it is obvious that by this time the event has passed already. I was just wondering if you did really play or you just watch the game. Well, I do hope that you had fun. Table tennis is a great game indeed. Its also good for health most especially that you produce a lot of sweat when you play the game. I am sure that whatever your decision was, there is no problem at all. The important thing is that you are part of the company and may you be a player or a spectator, you were there to support.

I think the important thing is that you try and show an intrest in the company by participating. Chances are you will not be the only one nervous about playing a good game. You should try to have fun then worry about how well you play.

I think attend table tennis is better.you did not take part as you worried played not well, but perhaps the good player meet more pressure too.So all of these worries are not necessary,it is a funny thing and we should enjoy it,and we may will get a reward or a gift, that is enough.
