I am lost even with all my years of being online. I can not for the life of me seem to recall how to make a shortcut for web pages on my desktop. I want these so I can click on them instead of having to go to my home page then click on faves. How do I make a web page shortcut for my desktop? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Keeping shortcuts in the desktop consumes memory from the RAM, thereby, slows down your computer. It is better to keep bookmarks in your browser. Keeping the desktop with less icons will make your computer perform better. Have a nice day

You can usually just go to "File" and "Save As" or "Save Webpage As" and give it a name, and put it on your desktop. That works for me in Firefox anyway.

I did not even know you could do that!! I found a page that describes it but I don't have an edit button on my keyboard so the instructions are useless. I hope that when I finish typing and submitting this, I'll see a helpful response in your discussion. Such a shortcut would save me time and aggravation!
