Do you watch people putting makeup on in public transport?

Hello wondericequeen,
I don't take public transport and so, I don't have that experience. But I happen to see lady drivers who love to put on their make-up during traffic jams. I hate that as they will just slow down and make it more terrible jam. One time, I gave signal to go to the fast lane but this lady driver was busy with her eye curl that she didn't move forward until the car behind honked her.

It does draw my attention allthough I most likely will turn my head after a little while because I think it's inappropriate to stare. The main reason why these people draw my attention is because I am a bit worried about the transportation having to make a sudden stop, causing the make up to end up in their eyes or something about that. I have heard stories like that before and I allmost wittnessed it once, so I have to hold myself back not to tell them to put the make up away.

I think it is a little declasse to put makeup on in public, sort of like brushing one's teeth, you know, so I would probably look away, but I do understand why some ladies do it when they are on a tight schedule, although it is not something I ever did myself. When they do it while driving a car, that is where I draw the line.

yes, i have even seen many ladies putting make up , lip stick etc while travelling, i dont like to do like this. i dont like to makeup in front of others, and i feel those people who do like this as doing to gain others attention, and nothing else.

Yep wondericequeen, I sometimes see them. I just let them do their business, may be they're very busy to put some make up at home and so on. I do not know what the mens think, but for me a woman, it's ok if they do it for a while, I mean not all the time they see the mirror and so on. Hoho, I'm afraid is they busy with their make up and focus their face, they will miss the station LOL.

I used to catch a train to work and yes I have seen several ladies applying makeup on a regular basis. Not the best etiquette but it's better than the woman who was filmed driving along the freeway at almost 100 kilometres per hour while putting rollers in her hair! At one stage she was holding the wheel with her elbows while she was fiddling with her hair.
The mind boggles! What angers me is that she is putting innocent drivers at risk as well as herself so I think it's better to draw a little attention on a bus or train than risking lives doing it while you are driving! There is a solution to this problem though; get up earlier!

Oh yes, even though I don't catch the train on a regular basis, I do catch it now and then, and I have seen people applying make-up on.
Well I look at them maybe for a couple of seconds, but they don't really interest me.
Sometimes people seem like it takes 15 whole minutes to put a single mascara and lip gloss on! Maybe they're just trying to make attention.

Yeah those ladies putting make up on a ride always caught my attention. I don't know why maybe I am just curious how they feel about that I mean they are not shy if many people are looking at them they are not get annoyed. Because I am a shy type of person so I can't do the same thing.

No. I usually don't notice the things happening around me. When I ride a public vehicle, I always read and if not, I'm asleep.
