I usually ask this question to my fiancee, cause until now she keeps on working. But with life right now that everything is to expensive or costly we need to be a double income family if we want to maintain a good standard of living. I think my fiancee is use to work and just be bored at home. Have a nice day to all of you!

I am a working mom also but if given a chance I'd rather be a full time housewife even I have one daughter only. I love staying at home doing all the household chores and taking care of my daughter. I do not want to rely on maids. But as you say life today is very hard so it is a must for husband and wife to work together to have a better life. As to your fiancee, she is used on working and getting bored at home so it is nice of you to accept the fact about that in her life. Good luck to both of you.....

Hi desiree long time no hear, anyway it's been two years and two months that were living together like husband and wife. I don't wanna see her tired, but I know she really got used to it. But even though she's working she's super organize, she still have time to cook and do house chores, but she hates ironing. She was telling me there is a word multitasking. Like she will be writing notes while she's also cooking at the same time hahaha! Anyway have a nice day to you! Keep on smiling!

Its a wonderful thing for you n30wing to meet your fiancee, when will the marriage be ? Anyways, for me there is a need for husband and wife to work equally since we are all dire grip of economic and global crisis, we are faced with the harsh realities of sweating hard to fill our stomachs and fulfill our needs and desires, but inspite all of this, when two people decide and vowed themselves to be tied in marriage, the best thing is to come up with agreement and understanding even to household chores, us men, must be able to learn the things our woman does, this way, we can help them ease "their" supposed roles.

I am a wife but I work too. But even I work I still fulfill my duties like cooking, (though my husbands love to cook as well) I also clean the house, wash clothes. In a country like Japan you can not just depend on your husband to work. My husband has a 17 year old son who studies and soon he will be in college so I can not just be a palin house wife. I need to help also with the expences. Soon we will be going to the Philippines to see our son and he can not shoulder all the expences alone. One more thing, i am an out going person, I don't think that i wont go crazy if i am only at home.

i am a housewife now.
I have worked in the past and it did feel good to get out there and work...i did not have to but it was like a break from the household.
And when i got home evrynight, i would appreciate everyone so much more. But being a housewife does have its rewards thou. I have children so i got to see them grow up and not be raised by other people. If you have no kids i do not see anything wrong with it as long as both partners agree to it.
