What you get in reading the bible?

Every day it is something new. Even if I have read the same thing many times I may understand something in a different way than I did before. When I want encouragement, I love the Psalms. When I want wisdom, I like the Proverbs. I love different books for different things. The Old Testament has so many good examples and the New Testament has Jesus and the apostle Paul and the other disciples. Of course, Revelation is fascinating. I love that there is a blessing written for anyone who reads Revelation. Most of all no matter what part I am reading, I get God!

I get instructions from God. Instructions that will tell me how should I live daily and the specific task that He want to do. It also help me change by the renewing of my mind.

When reading the bible.I get the message to forgive people who have hurt me in the past.I have also get to message to listen more and speak less.I have also got the message about God's protection in my life.I have also got relief and comfort during my troubled times.

There are many great things that you can get from reading the Bible. One of this is the "strength" to carry on thoughtout this earthly life. The promises of God in His Word inspire me to continue on living and never to give up in times of trials. I find great encouragement in God's Word that trials are only momentary and the best is yet to come.

I dont get anything...... although the stories are good

i knew bible when i was just 8year old,my mother is a Christian,she go to church when she was free. i'mso sorry to say i never read it ,because i'm an antitheist.but i know bible is very useful ,it deliver so many people ,especial a sinner.maybe oneday i will a christian.

The reading in the Bible give me constant inspiration and encouragement especially when things are not going well in my life. Whenever I'm confused, the readings there resolve most of my confusions and help me decide what's best to be done in a difficult situation. Although it's not really easy to find time to read it and much more to understand fully the ideas there, I find reading the Bible a strengthening experience.
