Sarah Maclanchlan's poetry and lyrics are unlike any other artists'. The lines that she puts in her songs are not only poetic but they're coupled with the right emotions, which gives her songs SOUL.
In her song "Do What You Have To Do, " the line that struck me the most was "..deep within I'm shaken by the violence of existing for only you.."
That's the best line ever.

I love the line "your love is better than ice cream, better than anything else that I've tried." It's just so simple and beautiful. The way love should be.
