is it true that robert pattinson is dead?

My friend have read an article about the death of robert pattinson at yahoo.com, it entitled "vampire found dead". the article said that robert found his brother lying on the floor, almost dead. His cause of death was drug overused. i tried to surf in the internet and i found another one saying that the article was only a humor/hoax. i don't know which one to believe since there's no news about robert. if the article is true, who will replace him as Edward Cullen? does Bella need to replace by someone too?.
