How much time will you spend to forget your predecessor lover

Emotion between lovers is subtle,many lovers loved but seperated.
I firmly believe that if still you love your lover, you will not Sperate even though he or she not love you.If both of you not love, you will seperate,but perhaps not love does not means forget,am I right?
A man said: the best method to forget a person is to love another.If you have not meet another loved person, how much time will you spend to forget your predecessor,I think perhaps should take me half a year,how about you?

It's painful to seperate from one's lover when he/she still loves she/him. I think it's impossible to forget predecessor lover if one doesn't find the right successor. You will always remember the happy time you have with your predecessor lover. Since you still love your predecessor lover, you will have a feeling of lost something.
