how old were you when you start study in elementary school?

Children nowdays start stugy in elementary school much earlier than we did 10 or 20 years ago.they are often 5 or 6 years old now.I was 7 years old when I start my stufy in school and I am yonger than most of classmates.it seems parents now are inclined to send their children to school as early as it possible.I don't know if it's good for the children or not because they are really too young in my point of view.how old were you when you start study in school? what age you think is the most proper age for a child to start their school lives?

I started at 7. I think today's children have to bear so much burdens. I don't know whether it will be good for them.

In china ,most of children went to school at 7,but before they studied in elementary school ,lots of children went to preschool.and so was i..ithink that age is proper age for our kids start their school lives!!!

I started Grade I when I was 6 years old. My sons started when they were 7 and I think it makes no difference whether you start at 6 or 7. Cheers!!

i am 7 years old when i started to study in elementary school, some friends of mine started elementary as early as 6 years...i supposed they are the gifted ones hahaha

I'm thinking seven is a good age. I started at aound 6 or 7. My middle daughter started at the age of 4 because of the way her birthday fell. I hated sending her that early.

I think I started elementary when I was 6 years of age. ^_^ But I started to study in school when I was 4 or 5 years of age. ^_^

I went to my elementary school when I was 5 years old. But now a days child are sent for their education when they are 3 years or even in advance. I think,in future all the schools will be having maternity wards in their school itself and they will admit the child as soon as he/she breaths the external air.

I started primary school when I was five, but I attended pre-school before that. In Australia, pre-school has now been changed to prep, but it's still the same ages.
