I haven't gone to church for several months now. I only drive my mom to church but I do not attend any services. I wonder which church will I attend to? Do you happen to know how to search for a church? or will you just select the nearest to your place? Or where your friends are attending? I did pray about it but I haven't receive any clear answer where to go.

Yes we should seek ye first the kingdom of God and yes we should attend church, we should fellowship with one another. I believe the Bible mentioned that Jesus as it is his custom, would worship in the Synagoge, which means he would go to church and have fellowship with others and hear the words of God.

The bible tells us that those who obey his commandments will be those who will inherit the kingdom of God. You should seek for a church that obey all the commandments of God, a church who adhere strictly to the Bible. The Seven Day Adventist church is the remnant church, they follow the commandments, everything they do is backed by Bible scriptures. Check out the Seven Day Adventist Church.

i aint got ur problem with u and ur mothers church,
i think visiting a church is a bit psychological too,
u can visit any church but it may not be good church for u,
a good church for u is the church where u can feel the energy flow{i hav felt it}
where u can concentrate,u must not look for a nearest one or friends church or lovers church etc,u look for a church which giv u happiness from ur inner self
regards

I don't think it is about us choosing what religion we will follow or what church we will attend, but more about what is acceptable to God. The answers are in the Bible, and so study of the Bible is needed.
I suggest you try praying again, perhaps the answer will come knocking at your door. I hope you find your answer.

Some people visit several different churches before settling on one. Finding the right church for you depends on what you're looking for. If you like a formal worship service, I would recommend the Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian or Disciples of Christ. If you prefer a more charismatic praise service, I'd recommend the Assemblies of God, Church of God and some Baptist churches. If you want something in between, I'd recommend some independent Christian and Baptist churches. If you're just interested in fellowship, a community church might be right for you. If you just want to hear the word of God and then you your way, you can be invisible in a mega church. However, there are mega churches that have small groups where you can become a part of a smaller community. Visit several different churches and visit them more than once to get a real feel for them. And pray that the Holy Spirit will lead you to the right place. In time you'll find what's comfortable for you and where you'll gain the most spiritually.

We are people and as you can see we have all kinds of different opinions down to where we are even responding about what you should and shouldn't believe. I am in the same place as you right now... my opinion the only one who knows which church group of people is a best fit for me is God... so I am praying and putting it in his hands to clearly point me to the right one... and the Lord will make it clear when the time is right... and I am done knocking my head against the wall...There are lots of good churches out there, but there is one that is especially right for someone just like you, that needs someone just like you and the only way to figure out which one out which one that is would be to put your faith out there and trust the Lord to lead you

Just curious, are you not happy with your mother's church? What do you expect of a church?
