I realize that driving while crying is highly dangerous. It happened last week when I was so upset at the office and I left early. While driving and thinking about all the things that has happened, i started crying. I cried all my emotion out which made me speed up. It was a bit too late when I realize i was driving so fast when I made a wrong overtake, I ended up in the bushes where my car was stuck. When the police arrived they taught I was drunk, after I have proven that I am not drunk. They brought me in for questioning still. They told me that I was lucky that I drove towards the bushes and not over a cliff. Of course I need to explain to them why I was driving so fast and they released me that same day without any records. I promised never to drive when I'm emotional.

Hi Abbyey!
I definitely agree with you, our driving is very much affected by our emotion. I have also experienced this kind of driving (carelessly and speed driven) whenever I'm upset, frustrated or angry. Lucky for me that I have not yet encountered any accident caused by this emotional condition, just what had happened to you.
Anyway always be careful when you drive. maybe it is better to just stop on the side and pour out our emotion, and drive when we feel better and alright.
Have a nice day!

I'm glad that you didn't have to experience it. It was my first experience being brought to the police station and having to explain everything when my heart couldn't bear repeating what has happened. It was a good learning opportunity for me. Next time I would prefer to take a cab instead or stop by a coffee shop to release all the emotion before driving home; or maybe it would be better to call a friend who can drive me home. It was one experience that is very memorable for me. :)

First I would say I am sorry to hear that. Yes, it is really dangerous to do some other thing while you are driving. Even the mobile phone producer Nokia will warn the user do not make phone calls while driving. When you are upset, you may forget the danger driving on a busy road. Anyway, you are lucky enough. Hope you can get well soon. Everything has a solution. So just calm down and think about it. You can overcome it if you try. :)

It is good that you realize this because driving in a distraught state could cause you an accident where you could kill yourself or kill somebody. I never drive when I am upset. Cheers!!
