I am newly married. I have never thought of finding a name for my baby, because we are not going to have kids for 2- 3 years. My husband has a collection of babies names. He likes to name 'Priya' when she is a girl, and he is not concerned about a boy's name because he want a girl at first.

Yes, you guessed correctly. I am from India, but my husband is a native American. He likes both Indian and American names. He worked in Saudi for some time. So, he also have some saudi names in his list. I said NO to those names because they sound like muslim names and both of us are traditional christians.

I'm married for almost five years and we plan to have a baby this year. We wanted to have a baby boy and will name him Xean Roslin. But if it's a baby girl, we want her name to be Cheyenne Roslynn.

I am an expecting father now and my wife and myself have chosen a very good name which we are now revealing it in front of anyone as we dont want anyone else to copy the same before us and make it common. We searched on many websites and form thousands of names we selected one that too by now just for a baby girl have to hunt for a boys name now.Its great fun and excitement doing this.We are desperately waiting for the day when our little champ will be in our arms.It will be the best feeling we ever had until now.

I'd have to look at my child's face first. :)I would say the name loud.I want to hear if the name sounds weak or strong. What colors I see when I say that name.I think it's really important to give a child the right name.My favorites are those religious and those with positive meanings.

Our first child's name we took from the Bible, Aaron James. Aaron was Moses brother in the Old Testament, and James was from the new testament.
The second child, we named her after family. Bailey Jarrissa. Jarrissa is actually after my husband's brother Jarrett, but since she came out and was a girl, we changed it to sound more like a girls name.
The third we named because it was a character on our favorite TV show. Chianna Josephine. Chianna is a character on the TV show Farscape, and Josephine was after my aunt who passed away just before she was born.
If we have a fourth, we are going to name a girl Darcy Justine. Darcy means "Out of Darkness" and Justine means "truth". I like the meanings of the names. I don't know about a boy yet, but since we aren't pregnant, I have time. ;-)
There are lots of baby name web sites that have names from different countries.
