Should Euthanasia be legalised in all countries?

Okay, basically answer the title question; should euthanasia be legalised or shouldn't it? Give your opinion and your reason to as why it should or should not be legalised. Is it because of religious views or political views? Or if you do agree with euthanasia, is it because you would hate to be a cabbage in a hospital bed?
Yeah, cabbage = vegetable = what you will be with brain damage.

I know for some people, their religious beliefs make euthanasia completley unacceptable. I think that making people who are suffering a great deal carry on being kept alive against their wishes is inhumane. As individuals we should have the right to decide for ourselves whether we wish to live. It is unbearable seeing people suffering so much - the only reason being that some people think that they should.

Yes I agree. I know that ome people only wnat to prolong the life of a loved one for their own reasons, like they still need mother to care for them. These acts are selfish, yes, but then again we are all selfish in a way, but in my eyes we need to take the person who is suffering into consideration and let them decide if they can. We have free minds, we aren't controlled. We should be able to choose when and how we die.
