Now that its recession period, jobs are not like before, either there are very strict and strange rules coming up in offices or there are no jobs. Now, how long it takes for the present position to come to normal like before. what should government do so that every one has some source of income atleast to procure the basic amenities? what are your opinions regarding the current recession which is every where in the world now?

Hi gayathri I feel this might continue for few more months it might take some 2-3 yrs get recovered. According to me govt should support more local companies instead of MNC(not against MNC but in this condition have to support local ones). and people should also contribute to over come recession they must go for more of their company products instead of imported one(I am not against importing) but to save some money for the country I mean the tax we pay will go to our country so that govt can do some help for the people to survive. This what I think.

yes, thats true chaitra, the recession is too bad right, and not only that in a company like where we are working, every day they are bringing up new rules so that you leave the company yourself, i myself feel like a caged bird working here, i feel the other companies are also like this only now. its a very bad economy right now. I wish it changes soon.

I don't think it will be over in the near future,as jobs and places of employment are going broke all the time.We will have to go deeper into recession yet anybody who thinks this will end soon is going to be bitterly dissapointed. Our government in England are printing money at the moment which is a dangerous thing to do,as we will have to pay it all back in taxes for the next fifteen years does that give you an idea of how long this is going to last, sorry.xx

Probably will take a while for the cycle to back to upwards trend, i will say one to two years time. If USA can weep out some of their excesses and fraudulent financial market in regaining investor confidence, then shorter time for recovery is possible.

personally I think the recession will continue till the public start getting confidence again,
the economic climate is caused by people and companies not wanting to go out and spend which is understanderable
I honestly think last year the recession was over hyped by the media which caused panic and made matters worse especially here in the uk no one had heard of a recession till about nov last year when the media started to over hype it.
Tho hopefully by the end of the year times will be changing tho during the recession there are still jobs out there you just have to be clever and to adapt to the circumstances.

I also expect the same, i expect that the recession must come to an end as soon as possible, everywhere people say only one thing, now its recession and you cant get a job anywhere, with which i get really tensed sometimes, whether to opt for a change or not, because i dont know why, there have been many strict rules and very difficult updates introduced in my company which is making many people to resign and the most worst thing is that, management is not accepting resignations at all, instead they are saying, " better dont come and get absconded" what should anyone do if this is the case?
