Geeze – where in the world will this end? I heard today, and actually I heard it about a week ago - - that we’re about to see another stimulus pkg. Coming out. It’s also my understanding that we’re in the “trillions” of dollars in debt to “China!” The news of late, doesn’t sound like China is showing very friendly feelings towards the USA. So, why on earth are we getting tied into them through borrowing money from them? And – what if they decided to either start calling in the loans, or decide that they should have some form of control over our economic system? I’m not real knowledgeable on this last above statement, so if you are – shed some light on this for me. Thanks

Who is left to bail out? We have bailed out wall street. We have bailed out the auto makers. We have bailed out the banks (nationalized really). We have bailed out home owners. Who is left to bail out? I mean really? The only people that need bailing out is the average american who will have to pay for all this debt. and the only way to bail us out is to for the government to STOP SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY. In fact they need to find a way to pay it all off. We have too much debt. I am starting to think they are deliberately trying to tear this country even farther down so that people will get so bad off that we will take their socialist agenda just to get some relief. WHen are we going to say enough is enough? We the people are also to blame for this. We are allowing them to spend us into ruin. We did not stop Bush, now we are not stopping Obama and Pelosi. Stand up and DEMAND that the government stop all this wasteful spending NOW.

I hear the incompetent press is also hungry for a bailout, since so many people stopped buying the line of bull they've been selling. Because the press not only refuses to report on important matters but also flat out suppresses them, they probably figure they are owed some payback from the man they got into office.

That should NOT be done. That would mean nationlizing the news. WHich means the gov. would actually OWN the news and everything it reports on. I know the press is far from fair or balance....but let them get nationalized and see what happens. Isn't this similar to what chavez did? But instead of forcing everything to be nationalized he is bribing them with money. Either way it is the same end results.

That is just it. We need to push to Obama not to do this. Everyone in the country needs to wake up and take personal responsiblity. Even himself. He needs to stop blaming the Bush administration and do something DIFFERENT. Bush's stimulus did not work and Obama claims that he will be different than Bush but in less 100 days he is trying to push 2 Trillion dollar stimulus plans that are not helping the economy. If China called us out they would own us.

Kinda make you wonder, are they trying on purpose to pisss people off? Are they trying to pick a fight with the people? I saw a hint of this next "stimulus" the other day and I couldn't believe it. as much as I am not suprised by much they do any more, I was stunned. These guys just are not going to stop are they?? Way out of control.

Isn't it crazy? I really have to wonder which sector this is supposed to 'stimulate'. Looks like the Obama administration is on an all out spending spree. When are they going to realize that senseless spending is not the answer? As to China, they are quite upset with the spending spree and have made that known. They are afraid that a further slide into inflation will greatly devaluate the dollar, which in turn makes their investment in our debt a terribly bad decision for them. My guess is they'll turn off the cash flow soon. I have a suggestion to Obama. How about asking all those who donated to the campaign to donate to the stimulus. All those big shots from Hollywood and his good pal Warren Buffett (oh, I forgot, Buffett is more than put off about the stimulus stuff and the halving of his wealth, no more lovy-dovy there, lol). I'm sure he can find some superrich people to donate. After all, didn't he promise a re-distribution of the wealth?

I find it ironic that when the campaigning was going on, and all of us that were not for Obama spoke up, we were called racists, and all kinds of other things. We simply understand the democratic platform: spend, spend, spen, and for heaven’s sake: ‘raise taxes too!’ What SHOULD have been in that first stimulus package was tax cuts, and money going to the small to medium businesses, and maybe even some to those who qualify, being 21 or over – a registered voter, and having all of their income tax from last year in good shape. They could have sent out stimulis checks out to the above group of folks in the amount of as little as $2500, and that would have helped a lot of people. I never have figured why the lenders couldn’t have tried to work out a plan with the folks who were about to lose their homes. Sometimes I think I should consider buying a small acreage, where I can live in peace, with a garden a few chickens, and a pond with some fish in it. Gramma and grampa had a lot less than what most have today, but they always had something to eat, and plenty of kindling wood and or coal to keep them warm in the winter, and a couple of fans to keep them cool in the summer. Oh how I long for some of gram’s fried chicken, and home made apple pie. Is there any other kind?

If we actually paid all of our debts, maybe countries like China would not be considered third world? I don't understand it myself. Perhaps we are exchanging recources that they find valuable. You know, like a barter system. The money is just paper, but if you have something as good as paper, it will do temporarily. Maybe they feel like they own a part of America if they loan us some cash?

What is happening is our government politicians, the wealthy, CEO's. Etc. All want us to become part of the United Nations and subjected to their laws. Including the rights of parents will no longer be considered at all. If they can make people upset enough, mad enough, scared and hungrey enough to start fighting back and cause an uproar that might lead to rebellion by causing more and more economic hardship and other problems and we the people get enough anger and upset to start fighting back and a revolt then the UN can be called in to subdue the rebels, martial law can be declared. Then the USA can become part of the North American Union instead of USA we become part of the new world order and the NAU. With Canada, Mexico and Central America. Our current president is part of it. All the policticans and parties are part of it and so is the media. They would like to eradicate totally the constitution of the USA. Keep watching you will see it happening.

The crooked officials in Chicago apparently got $1 billion fom the last stimulus package - maybe they spent it already and need more. Obama has to continue the you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours theory with them. I am not the best on finances but I sure as heck could do better than that lot we have in Washington. If anybody needs stimulus it is "We the people."

I just wonder when China is going to call the US on it's debt. If I were China, I would have forcibly taken back the borrowed funds long ago. TRILLIONS of dollars of debt is INEXCUSABLE. NO MORE, OBAMA!
