Mini Notebook laptops & Web books Is this the future? DELL/ HP/ Asus/ Samsung

I got a Samsung Mini-Notebook at xmass, i think its really good. It has a 1.7Ghz Intel ATOM chip 2GB of RAM and 120GB HDD..... Its really nice for browsing every thing online, and watching streaming vedio at HD ect ect, oh and battery life of 5+/- hours But it has no CD/DVD drive, and has no power for running any 3D type games or APPS, Any one else used these new laptops? and what do you think? Should i give up on my old more powerful laptop I think Asus, Samsung HP and DELL all have versions now, so who knows which is best?

no power for running 3D???[:O]...I think they would have a powerful graphic card...for running Windows Vista there is need of a quality graphic card...

No they do not seem to come with Vista only XP i think, these are ment to be minimal type computers for mainly browsing web... Looking at mine now i have Intel 945 Express Chipset Family lol...... Gutless"
