Never smoked before

I never smoked before and do not plan to smoke in future as well. My reason for not smoking is very simple. I never smoked because I never felt the need to smoke. Most of the people smoke because of two reasons. First, they think that smoking improves their style. It gives the person an image of a "cool dude". And second, they actually enjoy consuming mild intoxicants which then helps them to relax. I never needed to emphasize on my style quotient during my high school days and also during my college days as my image is of a very simple person and I am popular enough in my college.

I've never smoked, simply because I've never had any desire to do so. At this point in my life, I couldn't afford to from either a health or financial perspective. I had frequent bouts of bronchitis until I started having the flu jab and it used to really irritate me that doctors always asked HOW MANY I smoked - never IF I smoked !!
