Hi,
The effective way to lose weight & maintain health is to striking a right balance between Food intake & Physical activity.Either of the them alone would not work. Try & log on to the Portal www.chihealth.in, an effective online health portal which looks at Lifestyle management ( Diet & Fitness ). It helps you lose weight,& keep that Off completly. The Effective Trackers in them helps you track your Food intake as well as your Physical Activity

There are several things you need to do, not in any particular order:
Always eat breakfast. Eat 6 small meals per day, like this: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. Cut out all junk food, processed foods and sugary pop, do not eat candy or chips. Buy whole grain foods, fresh vegetables and fruits, lean meats (1% cottage cheese is also a good protein source and/or egg whites). Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day and walk for 30 - 40 minutes at LEAST every second day, at a brisk pace. If you can try to do all of these things together, you will definitely see results in about 6 weeks. If you need a menu plan and /or ideas go to either spark people (free) or mypyramid.gov (also free).

the best way to lose weight is-
1. first determine that you have to lose weight.
2. get up early in the morning, drink glass of warm water with a juice of lemon. you may add honey to it.
3. consult a physician, and then follow a strict exercise regime. even brisk walking for half an hour daily helps.
4. cut down on munching all the fatty food. reduce butter and cheese and freid foods. eat foods that have fibre. eat fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables and milk is a must.
5. don't skip meals and also don't eat inbetween meals.
6. rest is important, sleep for atleast 6-7 hours a day but not more than this.

Some peep are genticly fatter, and they will put on what they lost quicker than others... who knows it you are, im genticly thin and have never really gone about 65KG ever, and some times eat loads or none..
i know from trying to put weight on lol
the only way to be the right weight is to be healthy...
So eat 3 or 4 times a day, eat lots and lots of fruit and veg and the RDA's of all the things you need including water, if you eat enough fresh fruit and veg, dont take vitamine sups at all..
Exercise for 45 min to an hour 3 to 4 times a week... to stay the same weight and healthy, or for longer sessions to lose weight, sweating is a must and drink water
adjust your food as you need, aviod all things manufactured
Enjoy life to the max, have fun and do your best x 2 all

Yeah, I guess your friend's right. And irregular exercising may ruin your figure some how or leave some muscle that's not beautiful. well, it's hard to show a best way. But, for one thing, people differ in their born genes. And a healthy way of eating, drinking, and sleeping will help. And some quick way, however , not the best way to lose weight is to draw yourself totally into some business, which may draw your attention high up to 85% everyday. (I didn't mean any sport though.)that does help, for I had such an experience, not happy though. ...
My friend, rookiekan, being healthy comes first. well, I also wrote something on this topic today. Would you please come and have a look, if you like? Thanks for your sharing~~
oh, being on diet is not good, dear. Blessing you~
