Global Warming is an impending danger to all habitats of this earth. Very few are aware and are concerned about its gravity. It has become a piece of news read with coffee and leave the matter to some one else or the Government of the Country.
Every one who happens to be behind the release of Chlorofluorocarbon is responsible for global warming. Exhaust gas emissions from automobiles from Factories, escape of gas from refrigeration system and even the deodorant we spray can contribute to global warming, melting ice in the polar region, raising water level and result in to submersion of land.
Every Individual on this earth is responsible to protect our environment. they can do so by growing forests, replacing conventional bulbs, producing renewable energy from wind mills and solar energy, minimize consumption of power, share cars to commute, switch of the engines when ever it is possible, recycle and reuse the resources like paper and bio-degradable plastics.

I get so frustrated by those in our society who refuse to believe what is right in front of them. It is easier for some to ignore all the warning signs and carry on like it does not/will not affect them. Should be interesting to see the state of the world when we are all fighting for fresh water, instead of oil reserves.
Yes... we are all responsible for the position that Mother Earth finds herself in!!! I think that "big business" and "government" have all made the worst choices. We are all slaves to "oil", when there are (and always have been) greener choices for the world. Solar and wind power are totally renewable, non-polluting energy sources but the gov't/big business don't make the money off of these so they are not interested (well, maybe sort of interested now because of public opinion). I have actually met people against wind farms because "they're ugly or noisy". Well, I prefer ugly and noisy over smelly, polluting, toxic anything.
We are a "throw away" society that rarely uses anything up, must have the latest techno gizmo (even if what you currently have is sufficient... cell phones, computers, vehicles, etc). As a result, our landfills are full, we are debt ridden, or in the worst case... homeless and hungry... and our world is polluted. Don't believe me? Take a good look at the condition of our Great Lakes or pretty much any stream, river or lake in Canada. It affects the air we breathe, the water we drink and all of Mother Earth's creatures.
What is wrong with this picture? We are so busy buying crap we don't need to impress people we don't even like! I realize that I may make some people angry by these statements. Too bad... perhaps the truth hurts. It will hurt more before there is a solution to this global problem.
I live close to the earth, have never littered, taught my children to respect the Earth and all living things. We are very proactive about recycling, growing our own food with no chemicals, conservative with energy, etc. The really sad part is I wonder if how we live our little lives will even make a difference when we have millions on this Earth who just don't give a s..t, because it is "all about them". Thanks for letting me have my rant!

What can we say but have to face it either bravely or grudgingly. Though some scientists opine that man's contribution to global warming is very less, the fact people are exploiting the natural resources cannot be denied. Burning of fossil fuels is very much contributing to global warming.
As for myself I have joined Carbon Advice Group and I am promoting it.
Thank you,
