I was just watching a program and saw a sea plane in it take off. That looked like a very enjoyable sort of flight to me. It would be far more exciting than taking off and landing from an airport.
I have seen on a tiny plane in the Seychelles. It was such a short flight from Praslin to Mahe. The plane flew low giving superb views. In the Maldives I flew from Male to Gan on a flight of over one hour. I took photos of the reef and islands. Wow!
Going on a sea plane would be even better I imagine.
Would you like to go on a sea plane? Why?
Have you ever been in a plane, if so was it a large jumbo jet or a tiny helicopter?

I have never been on a plane of any kind. Sure I would go in a sea plane if I could wear a life jacket and fly no more than 2 metres above the water!...lol
I am really hoping to get to Japan some day, so I guess I will have to fly! Maybe a sea plane would be awesome! What a way to drop a line and fish...lol just kiddin!

I think I would quite enjoy flying in a sea plane. I'm not so sure about the landing part of the journey, as coming down to meet the water might be pretty daunting, don't you think? lol. It would be nice flying low and being able to see an ariel view of the countryside and waterways though. Yes, I think I'd give it a whirl, my friend. I've been in an airbus and large and small jet planes, as well as a jet turbo prop, when I travelled to Germany. That flight was the one that caused my nervous tension when we came down through thick cloud and I couldn't breathe. I caused quite a stir amongst the cabin crew and other passengers! lol.
Brightest Blessings.

Hi my travelling friend...lol..
Yes I have been on planes both big and smaller...but I have never been on a sea plane..I would love to though. I think it would be awesome to take off and land in the water. There is one not far from me that I see sometimes..I have no fear of water and would probably feel safer in a sea plane..and the pictures I could take would be awesome!

Hello dear maximax. I have never been in a sea plane, but I have been in a small as well as a big plane when I flew to my hometown. I love the feeling of taking a plane, so fast and convenient. The best part of it is that I can see so much of the beautiful sky in the sky high above. I enjoy taking a plane, either a sea plane or the kind of planes I talk about here. Enjoy yourself, friend.

Hi maxine! I have been in an airbus, a jumbo plane and on a small plane but never rode a sea plane before nor a chopper. I guess it will be really lovely to try riding a sea plane because the view of the sea reef will surely be a magnificent sight to behold.
Take care and blessings to you!

I think it would be neat to do, but honestly, I think I would be too afraid to actually try it if the opportunity came about! I have been on a big plane a couple of times when I was very young, and that was cool because I was just a kid. I haven't flown since because I haven't had the need to, and I am not in ahurry to with the way planes seem to be falling from the sky left and right these days!

At one time it seems sea planes were used for passenger flights. They seem to have fallen out of favour, probably because most places finally built long runways. It seems more enviromentally friendly to use a sea plane that a huge runway.
In Canada a lot of remote communities rely on what is known as a float plane. It is a light plane with floats instead of wheels so they can land on the numerous lakes in the north country. They are converted to ski planes where in the winter a runway is made in the snow and the plane lands and takes off on skiis.

I haven't been on a sea plane, but it sure sounds like fun. I have been on a helicopter, which was great, and also on a small mono plane. Well, it was like a mono plane, about the size of a bath-tub with the propellers at the back It was exciting, but a little dangerous. Took som great photos though.

Hello Maxi. Nice to see you. I have never taken a sea plane yet. But, I was once on a "hydrofoil" in the Mekong River in Vietnam, going from Vung Tau to Ho Chi Ming City. Oh, that was fantastic. It was a flying boat, instead if a flying plane ! It was so fast , so exciting ! It was an unforgetable experience for me.
Have a nice weekend !
