Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. For me it is such an efficient antivirus tool. It was able to take away those threats that AVG, Kaspersky and Bitdefender can't seem to remove. It also consume less memory. Give it a try!

I think Avast. I can't say that it is the best but ut is one of the good antivirus softwares. It is completely free and consume less memory, and work efficient as far as my opine.

Well my friend who looks after my computer and many other computers always says Anti vir is the best and it is free, I have had this on my computer for years now and I have never had trouble..he told me a lot of the anti-virus companies actually have a built in thing that makes them look like they are picking up things just so the customers think they are doing a good job...when you think about it, that is just the sort of thing some companies would do...

well, no virus scanner is perfect or provide 100% security but avira is a good choice. you can try this. then kaspersky can be another choice. beside antivirus scanner i use firewall (software) for some more security.

ESET NOD32 ANTI-VIRUS is best & consumes very less system resources...u can go for AVG FREE EDITION...but ESET is better...latest version adds ton of features...best suited for all around protection...[;)]
