We live near a lakeside town that is converged upon every Friday the 13th by thousands of motor cycle people. Its a huge money boaster for the small town as people usually come and stay for a couple of days. Here is a link http://www.pd13.com/
Does any town or event happen in your area every Friday the 13th?

no nothing special in my city happens on friday the 13th, it is just a superstition that friday the 13th is bad luck, but many of our buildings do not have a 13th floor it jumps from 12 to 14

I don't know. We don't have stuff like that around here on that day. To me it's just another ordinary day.
It's a lucky day for the town because it brings in lots of money. Lucky for some, not for others.

Your town wasn't formerly a location setting for one of the famously eponymous horror movie series, would it?
That's a first for me..I've never heard of a place that celebrated Friday 13th before!

Your motorcycle gathering for Friday the 13th sounds pretty fun, although I'm not really a motorcycle aficionado. I don't know of a single activity in our town celebrating the 13th. Guess some people think it's something to celebrate, but none around here.

No nothing around here happens like that. I have always known friday the 13th to be bad luck, but I don't see my friday the 13th being any different than any other day. I think it is just a supersticious thing.

It looks like a very noisy business to me all those bikes, but if everyone is having fun and doing the economy good.I have no idea what it is about friday the 13th maybe it is just a long weekend all of them can get there. It is supposed to be unlucky but lucky for some.Thats all I know.

I checked out that link. That is cool that this happens in Port Dover. For the people that live there or near there, It can be bothersome. Nothing like this happens wgere I live. We just contunue our day like normal.
