You don't want to start hurting members of your family, but with loud racket I imagine you sure feel like it. Especially if it's keeping you up at night. If you can afford it (maybe your folks would chip in too) why don't you get your brother a set of headphones. That way he can go deaf as quickly as he wants to without taking you with him. Or, they also make headphones for the purpose of noise reduction. You wear them to muffle the music.

ask him nicely... you can explain to him why this is bothering you. i don't think he will respond harshly if you talk to him nicely. that's what i think. my sister usually do that. push my patience because she knows im very impatient. but whenever i talk to her, i talk to her nicely, making it seems like it you're the idiot and not me.... which makes her pissed. i just dont like to waste my energy on petty things like immaturity. :)

We do have problems with people and things in this world that pisses us off. I try to be a good citizen and a good neighbor and a good brother but somehow I don't succeed in being in good terms with others. I think I may have pissed some people off when I was younger because I would have the volume of the stereo up so loud. There must have been a few who thought of kicking my teeth in. Cheers!!
